So the PO had the rear brake hose disconnected and I am missing the rear banjo bolt so curious to know what size it is? I also forgot what the smaller hose connection on the air box hooks up to? Lol tore the bike down and for some reason didn't mark it or make note of it. Thanks guys

If memory serves me correctly, the stock Yamaha caliper uses a 12mm course thread Banjo bolt.

Fred, I think your memory may have led you astray. The rear brake banjo bolt size is 10mm diameter with 1.25mm pitch. Length is about 23mm. The hex size is 12mm. Maybe that's where the confusion arises from?     Pete.

Sorry about that. I am used to referring to bolt sizes by the hex/wrench size.

The smaller hose connection on the airbox(on the right side) should be the breather hose. It runs to a fitting on the top of the gearbox on the right side........kind of a pain in the ass to hook back up, as there is not alot of room to get your hands in there..............

Ok thanks guys, the air box the bigger hose goes to the crankcase but there is a smaller hose connection on there as well and I am not sure where that one goes.  :cray:

It is probably just a water drain out of the bottom?
I can't recall a smaller hose hooked to mine, but it's been a couple years since I've had the airbox out.
