:hi: What a great day out with five fellow fj riders...thank you guys Paul, Andrew, Johnnie, Gord, and Charlie, for a great day out :good2:  The weather played its part to...23C, blue skies and sunshine...superb :good2:

9.30 a.m. ('ish!!) meet for breakfast, gas up the steeds and off we went...Down through Belfountain and The Forks of the Credit River...a couple of jogs north and on to Hockley Valley's village store for a coffee/pop/water/smoke/pee break and back on the road...Over the north side of Orangeville, out toward Fergus and headed on down past the Caledon Ski Resort, out through Belfountain and a break at my place for wee while to shoot the breeze and get to know each other a bit more. From the town of Erin we headed south to Acton and on to our final destination of Breezy Corners Restaurant on Hwy 6, (just out of Freelton village), for late lunch/early supper...Gassed up the rides and headed for home for a well earned beer...or three :drinks:

A superb day, starting out at 9 a.m. and home for 7.30 ('ish) p.m. with a lot of fun in between.

Thanks again guys for a great day with a bunch of new and old friends...looking forward to the next one :good2: :yahoo:

John.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in an attractive & well preserved body...but rather to slide in sideways, body completely worn out and and with your last dying breath screaming, "HOOOYA LIFE, lets try that again"!!!

Yes. Thanks  Charlie!!!! Got the tuning fork on the tool box. Water bottle in the dishwasher ready for work! Thanks to all you guys for a fun safe ride. Nice to meet similarly afflicted men.

That's pretty sharp with the sticker and the bottles.
For anyone else who is curious, here is a map to the part of Ontario where we rode. (You have to zoom in) Also there are 2 big long routes for Andrew (Blue route ) and Paul (Violet route) who came all the way from North Bay and from Napanee, respectively.

From those distances, it's obvious the groups rides are about the comraderie. They put in plenty of riding just to get there and back.
Some rides through the Forks of the Credit are on YouTube if you're interested in doing a search to see what it looks like. Hopefully we have some video coming of our own from this trip too.

Charlie...Given all the problems you have been experiencing with your FJ over the last wee while, I was really pleased that, not only did you have breakfast as planned but you were able to complete the day with us.

The FJ's may bring us together but its all about the people really :good2: and we certainly had a great bunch together on Sunday.

Looking forward to the next one...were ever that may be :drinks:

Thanks. I threw on another 150 km the next day going to Guelph, Elora and Fergus. It felt further because I was taking my sweet time, stopping to see the sites. The tourist turnout over the weekend was something else in all the places we went to.
