Sticky throttle - I fixed it

My throttle has been kinda sticky since I got the bike. I could leave it cracked open even. Certainly wouldn't snap shut if you let it go.

So, yesterday I pulled off the grip. There was some serious rust and dirt in there.  Cleaned it all off, lightly greased it, now it's buttery smooth and snaps shut if you let it go. A little cleaning can go a long way.

Besides, I like telling people I greased my throttle.  :good2:

Now, to figure out the slightly high idle...

You have to reach into the space behind the cylinders (and under the carbs) to turn the idle adjust wheel.

Use light gloves or a standard screwdriver to avoid burns!

Or someone else's freakishly girly little hands to turn it.
