Hey Higbonzo, pick up the white phone! Jeff and I will be in your neck of the woods soon! Any other FL people want to join in, it's a good restaurant. And the DMS group typically tries to do a route thru the countryside.

Sorry Marsh if I'm stepping on toes by posting this, I just knew we had some newbies from FL.

I will have to give it some thought.  I would probably want to head there and ride back up to St. Aug. with the group.  I can make it there in about 1 1/2 hour +/- if I don't get lost.  So, I guess it is doable.  I really need to get my clutch fixed though.  I keep putting it off.  Well this may be my excuse to get it done.

I will let you know what I decide.  I have to run it past the boss, but it sounds like fun, so if I wine a little about missing the last ride, and me having no friends and all that she might let me go.   :empathy3:

Yes, the Conch House is a great place to eat, but it is also very pricey.

I'll keep in touch.

Nancy,

So you are going to be riding up here for sure?  I should be able to make it down that morning and ride up to St. Aug. with you all.
Let me know.

Yep my boyfriend and I will definitely be doing that ride. Typically I have a horse thing and don't get to do much with this bunch that I ride with down here, but this just happens to fall the day after the show when I would give the pony the day off anyway.

IF you are coming down and want to come down Hwy 11, we can meet there and ride to DMS together. There's a lakeside park just about 4.5 miles south of Hwy 40 on hwy 11 that we could meet at.

Let me know

Nancy,

I am really going to try and make it down.  I should have all the parts to fix my clutch by the end of next week.  I don't think it will take but a couple of hours to get it changed along with changing my oil and filter.

I was thinking about coming down highway 11, but I will probably come down A1A (love the ocean view) :good2: and then come across on 40.  So, yes, I would love to meet up with you all before heading to our final destination.  I should know friday if I will make it down for certain.

I will keep in touch.  :good:

Later.....  :bye2:

Great meeting you today Phil and your wife Denise. She definitely needs to attend a rally as well, she'll fit right in. Your girls.....well they probably thought I was a  little wacky.

To everyone on the board, Phil (higbonzo) rode his FJ down from St. Augustine to meet Jeff and I near my house so we could ride with the group from DeLand Motorsports back up to St. Augustine. They did break it down into 2 groups and I chose the slower group (mistake on my part). We ended up between the 2 groups with 120 bikes which was the last count. Straight roads, but a nice route. We even had a very nice popo in Crescent Beach hold the traffic light for all of us to go thru.

Came home and started cleaning the bike. Jeff didn't take pics of me, but trust me I had grease all over.

Getting ready for the MTNS!!!

Nancy,

It was great meeting you and Jeff.  It was really nice of you to ask me along for the ride and I am really glad you did.  My wife said it would be "Ok" for us to be Friends     My family was happy to meet you and Jeff, and it would takes a lot more than a fun person like you to shock my girls.

After you left it took some time for the kitchen to get the girls orders out to us.  We ask if they had forgotten about us and the waitres said the cooks were all trying to recover from the 250 motorcyclist that had just left.  So, I would say that was a really big turn out.  I had a great time and would love to do it again.  I just want to make sure there are no crazy girls fallowing me

Thanks again, and tell Jeff I said "Hey"

Later, Phil   :bye2:
