The Masters Tournament.......is there anything like it ? Final pairing? Dark horse? Ultimate Champion? Well........ the final pairing.......I'm going with Tiger woods and Rory Mcilroy.........Dark horse......I'm picking...
Brandt Snedeker .......and Ultimate Champion..........hmmmmmm...........well, he hasn't won a Major in 5 years.........but I think he's finally back.......just took back the worlds number one ranking recently...but thats not why........he just looks like he's enjoying the game again..finally......I think Tiger will do it this year.....easy John.......the other Tiger.......... I think this years tourney will be epic !!!!! :drinks:

I agree, there is nothing like it. I had the fortune of being able to attend the Tuesday practice round last year. 55,000 fans there to watch the pros practice. What other sporting event has that many people show up just to see them practice??? The course was absolutely amazing - not a blade of grass out of place and not a weed to be found. Just like Gary McCord once said, it's like they used bikini wax on the greens. He has since been banned from any future broadcast of The Masters because apparently that was in bad taste. They're a bit uptight in Augusta. What amazed me was the elevation changes throughout the course. Sure, some of the fairways look wide but the actual landing area is really tight. Food and drink prices were quite reasonable - something like $3.00 for a beer and $3.50 for imported. You won't find that anywhere else. Apparently they have kept food prices the same for the past 20 years or so and then they subsidize the catering company. Don't worry though, they get you at the gift shop! It was simply the most amazing golf course I have ever seen, anywhere. I would go back in a heartbeat if I got the chance.

A friend of mine flew down to watch this years practice round and is there now.....his dad won some contest. You can only imagine how exclusive the course is when Bill Gates had difficulty becoming a member and women.....not allowed to join(although that has just been changed)......GOLF is an acronym for Gentleman Only Ladies Forbidden........I have also heard that it was named Golf because FUCK :ireful: was already taken !!!! lol.
so let me hear your picks......... :good2: . Good to hear from you bro...hopefully you'll be able to come to the next Ontario BBQ.....Looks like the group is getting up there in size....should be a great year.....playoffs just around the corner  :yahoo: ......man am I ever stoked...

I would like to see Rory win it this year for a couple reasons - it would be nice to see him dethrone Tiger as #1, plus I think Rory is a cool name - it is spelled and sounds exactly the way you would hear Scooby Doo pronounce it. Sure, it would be OK to see Tiger win but since his fall from grace, I don't know - I just can't get over the fact that he is an egocentric A-hole. That Nike ad that stated "Winning takes care of everything" didn't help the cause either. At the end of the day, he and all other professional athletes are nothing more than entertainers. That's it. They are not heroes or role models. Unfortunately, that's not how society sees them. At least he's no Lance Armstrong...

Would love to make it out to an Ontario BBQ this year. Of course, I have a little ride to Alaska that will be taking up the month of July and just about every other weekend I am working at Fanshawe College - motorcycle riding course, so my schedule is filling up fast. Will see what I can do. I was thinking maybe even a Saturday or Sunday afternoon meeting in Port Dover would be nice. It's about an hour and a half from London, not sure what it is for you and others...

Adam was the first to walk through the lush greens of Eden......probably grabbed the first stick and hit the first stone at the tree of eternal life in a bid for immortality. Sadly though he likely hit the tree of the knowledge of good and evil knocking its fruit to the ground. Eve...thinking he made the shot ran quickly to retrieve the prize......with a little help from the colourful little serpent, the two ate from the fruit only to realize that he missed his shot.

6000 years later, along comes another Adam from the Great Land Down Under................walking gracefully through the wooded greens........on a plot of land cut right from the heavens........ Adam finally wins his bid to be immortalized. The new Wizard of OZ............Mr. Adam Scott has won the 2013 Masters Championship.  :yahoo: :hi: :drinks:  :good2: :nyam1: :good: :empathy3: :wacko3:  :dance2:
