Yes. You are right Candyman. You can lead a horse to water but a pencil must be lead!

Hey John. From Barrie here. One hour north of Toronto. Haven't been around here in a while. I know of two other FJ owners local to me.

Tiger

WOW, superb...that certainly puts us over the twenty mark :yahoo: I'll start working out a 'central point' to meet and ride :good2:

Keep them coming boys 'n girlies... :drinks:

John.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in an attractive & well preserved body...but rather to slide in sideways, body completely worn out and and with your last dying breath screaming, "HOOOYA LIFE, lets try that again"!!!

Hi guys. Charlie the Questionable here. I've been laying low because the last year has been a real rough one for me. Even during the period before and after the great ride through the Kawarthas. No, I haven't forgotten to assemble the vid and photos from last summer but that's how far out of whack things have gone in my situation.
Anyway, a move is in the making and hopefully putting me back closer to the Hwy 9 - 404/400 area.
I met you all only that once and I sure look forward to getting back together this season.

So instead of some private messages, this is me collectively saying I'm still kicking.
Charlie

.......... I have sent out PM's to all Ontario members and the response for a weekend get away was overwhelming......don't want to use the "R" word yet........but hypathetically speaking..... if we were to do a long weekend thing together somewhere here in Ontario......where do you think would be a great spot......personally I would love to find a spot near the water where we could do some fishing and swimming and water skiing......you know....after a nice ride..... .....I did some poking around today and found a few spots towards Calabogie\Renfrew area....it must be a location with lots of twisties...any and all suggestions are welcome.....we can work on a date next but lets see if we can find a cool spot first ...... Please include links...make your response in the Ontario BBQ thread....

Tiger

:hi: Hi Brian...Sudbury's still part of this great province. No North or South here eh  :rofl2: ...

Tiger........John.....I am truly truly sorry for the things that I said and posted on this site concerning you. I have always had the highest respect and affection for you and your friendship.....and I miss your company and friendship. I have absolutely no excuse for my conduct or the things which I said and am profoundly ashamed of myself and my behavior. I can not rewind the clock and change it...all I can do is say how deeply sorry I am. I truly miss you and so does snowball . Please try to forgive me  ... I would very much like to sit down face to face and make it right again.....

:hi: The idea for this thread is to get the Ontario members to get know each other...be it for rides, help with part(s), repair work, etc, etc :good2:

With the info we now have, I have started to 'plot' the Ontario FJ'ers locations on a map...We are pretty well spread out, which should make for some great weekend warrior rides eh!!!

If you want to put on a ride in your area, be it one day/two days, to show off some of your favourite roads, places to visit, etc, please start a thread in the 'Trip & Travel Reports' section...or just PM the people you want to ride with :mail1:

Last weekend (long weekend), I was invited to ride with five other FJ'ers...two I had ridden with last year, one that I had met but not ridden with previously and two new-to-me great guys. We had a blast and now I have some great new riding buddies... :good2: This, in part, came about due to people who answered on this thread...so, thank you for the invite  :good:

Looking forward to the next 'meet 'n ride'...where ever and when ever that may be... :drinks:

John.
