Bought my 1988 FJ1200 about 15 years ago.   Was an active member of the Forum then but have since lapsed.   Still ride as much as I can.   Still trying to keep the old girl running.   Same Issues as every one else.   Voltage regulator failing...   Its good to be back.

Welcome back.  15 years you say?  I suspect you're referring then to the Yahoo group -which did exist then, this group did not. Many of the same folks from there, are here though.

Welcome Frank, the hits keep comming, riding weather hits and its like a hidden FJ factory starts cranking them out. Do is your 88' an 87' or an 89'? Gravity feed or fuel pump?
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.
