Yesterday I went to pick an ebay purchase. Sitting in the garage was an FJ1100. He bought it new and it has over 200,000 on the clock. Bog standard and mechanically original. I immediately thought of all the wonderful places it must have taken him, the big chunk of his life it has been with him and the memories it must hold.

He then told me he had only been away on it a couple of times and they were all commuting miles - 40km each way through the suburbs. Not even a stretch of road at highway speeds.

He also had one of them thar big Yamaharley cruiser thingo's and a fully restored RZ 250.

Nice bloke though.
