I am 66 years old and tour on my 2005 Hayabusa including 2 Iron Butt SS 1000 rides. In 87 I bought an 86 FJ1200 with only 600 miles on it. I rode it for years and eventually sold it to my stepson. I had several other bikes in the meantime and eventually bought the FJ back as he had cash needs. Several years later I sold it back to my stepson. Now I am buying the bike back for the final time. It has ignition troubles and needs a little work as it has sat for the last 4 yerars or so but I am excited to have it back in my garage.

I am keeping the Hayabusa to tour on but my wife has always loved the FJ and is also glad it will be back in my garage.

Good times here in Southern Oregon as soon as I can get down to Santa Cruz, CA to pick it up.

Welcome ! You got me beat by a few months, I am 65.4. Nice to keep the bike in the family.

Welcome Monster, happy to have another 2 wheeler with FJ in his blood system.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

I will be asking for help as needed. I understand he has been a little hard on it. Ignitor seems to be bad but he has another ready to install. I'll need a new windshield. Rotors warped but he has a spare set of wheels with rotors. I used to have Lockhart lowers on it but I believe they are crunched. I can hardly wait.
