Had the GoPro in the tank bag so got it out and had a play.


A Bonneville on the slab.

Must strap it to the FJ and get a fillum of me running up the 9 miles of Thorpdale Road just out my back door.

I got the same block earlier but I clicked on the "the road that can't be named" link under the pic and it took me to youtube and if you look on video listings to the right of page the links there worked for me...that was some real nice riding there dogtired

Damn close Marsh, a stones throw away.
32 out of Cosby Tenn. The road to nowhere.
It heads up into the hills and at the NC border it turns in to a 8 foot wide goat track, bizarre.

I wouldn't worry too much about it... I was able to see it the same way BSI suggested.

Sounds like one of the roads we took on the ECSR a few years ago.  Prime twisties one minute, then suddenly a graveled goat path for several miles.

Someone dropped their Z750 about a half mile or so from the end of the pavement.

did you also ride the cherohala skyway while in the area ? it ranks very high on my short list of great roads i've ridden.  there really is some great riding in the Tenn, NC, Va  areas!

During the time I was in the States I visited the Smokeys four times, and probably spent near a month there all up racerman. Just my opinion, but that area has some of the best riding roads the US has to offer. The Cherahola is way up there and rides brilliantly in either direction.  Hellbender is a lot of fun. BRP is good too, just watch out for the LEO's and it's restrictive speed limit. But some of the best roads I rode while I was there I couldn't name as I was staying with people I knew in Silva and got a few days guided tour of all the roads the locals ride.

Oh, and 16 in WV is right up there too.
