Thats an interesting thought. I was thinking along  similarlines myself, but instead of shocks, twin lock up struts (with a long swingarm)for a drag/street bike. What had me concerned was the load being taken on thru a bolt on seat subframe assembly? I didnt do it in the end,but would like to see if anybody else has done the shocks idea?

i have seen pic on google images of the fj with twin strut/shocks but not air adjustable ill see if i can find a good pic of it and post it

Isn't dual-shock a synonym for old? What possible advantage is there to dual shock?

(I realize that the XJR is dual shock, but I am equally baffled by that choice...)

Not everyone understands what a completely rational process this maintenance of a motorcycle is. They think it's some kind of a knack or some kind of affinity for machines in operation. They are right, but the knack is almost purely a process of reason.
