hello all

from the looks like it i have found the right place to be with my new to me 89 fj1200. this is my first actuall bike (that i bought) except dirt bikes. and i love the way it looks. my main reason for buying it is because i got it for $500.00 it looks good, run but needs work. so i figured that i didn't go wrong by buying it.

i will post pics of it just as soon as i figure out how.

Welcome, glad to have ya. Great deal on the 89, there's also some smokin deals here in cali. Not uncommon to find em for under $1k.

you know, for whatever reason, I've occasionally though about a sort of, "what happened after..." to the fictional events described in that song.

Seems to me, if she had tried to ride it, assuming she could have even gotten it started, she likely would have wrecked it. Alternatively, she might have sold it to the Vincent version the Legends guys -or some such.

Anyway you look at it, nothing good came of that bike...
