2013 Fall Rally at Tellico Plains

I received a phone call from Kellie at the Cherahola Mountain Trails motorcycle campground today.  This is the place about 2 miles outside of Tellico Plains that we visited last September.  They have very nice setup with 7 cabins (2 per cabin) and lots of camping space.   Free firewood, very nice indoor/outdoor meeting area.  They also are putting in trailer pull throughs to accommodate people like me and Nancy ( ).

We attempted to "reserve" the campground for the fall 2013 rally when we were there, but It is necessary to start reserving cabins now if you plan on going.  Seems they are getting many phone calls for the third week of Sept 2013 already and so far they have been holding off but.....

The time frame for the Fall Rally is Monday 9/16/13 for the early attendees through Sunday 9/22/13.  Their Phone number is 423-253-6061, ask for Kellie and mention the FJ Owners Group.  Check their site out at <cycleresort.com>

That is the former Cherohala Motorcycle Resort!  It's a great place to stay!

Dan, life and a lack of vacation has kept me away from the rally's the past two years. I hope to be able to change that next year.. When is the next Breakfast at Po's?

Just found out that there was a landslide on the Cherahola.  Doesn't look too bad but they will close it down to fix it.  I expect it to be fixed for the fall rally....google it up for pictures.
