Hey all. Hope someone can advise me on this.

Used a phillips to remove the drain screw & wouldn't budge. Put fork in vise for a better angle & nothing. Used a dremmel to cut a slot & nothing. Carefully drilled a small hole & ground down an old screwdriver & inserted & twisted the head off & the pic below is the result.

Don't wanna cause anymore damage. Any tricks or ideas on how to remove the stud since it's so small??

Thanks for ANY help!!

P.S. the dark spot in the center is the drill hole--I did not drill all the way through.

The head of the screw is already completely gone. I would suggest using WD-40 or an equivelant and let it soak into the threads. You already have a hole started in the screw. Drill the hole a bit deepeer and use a no.2 Easy Out to remove.

Optionally, stop trying to remove that screw now.
Drain your fork leg by turning it upside down when needed.
