i've recently bought a mercury 7.5hp thunderbolt outboard motor
has tiller arm
the carb has been destroyed (someone has played with it and screwed it right up)
the carb that came with it is the old style one but i've bought a new style one to convert it...
was wondering if someone could tell me what these are below...

far left of the engine casing is a cable that leads to the front of the motor. (attatched to the lever on the left) where does this cable go? (mine is missing)

also on the top of the carb is a cable leading off to the right (choke maybe?)
and the left hand top cable i believe is the throttle? (i have what looks like the remains of a throttle cable to the big grey peice of metal above the carb...

also my fuel pump is seperate to the carb but i believe the fuel pump is in the carb pictured?!

anyone help me on this one?
this is the carb that came with the engine

although this isnt mine... this is the same as the one i have...
