Just wondering if anyone has tried to fit the above shock to '91?
Found a near new shock going cheap. The bottom clevis looks right, tho I'm not
sure about the bolt hole size (can be modified). the top mount bolt hole is the
one that concerns me.....it looks quite a bit smaller than the FJ top mount
bolt.

Enquiring minds........

FJZ1 1200 - It'll do me just fine.

I have a collection of sport bike shocks down stairs.
I'll take a look and see if I have one and measure it for you
If it's not broken, fix it anyways

Well looking in Ron Ayers the bolts are different but it take the same nut. The only thing that you will have to do (from what I can see) is build some spacers for the eye and put a bigger spring on it for the heft of the FJ.

Hi Harvy,
Not sure if these would work, I don't know what the top of the YZF shock looks like.  :unknown: They are a set of spacers I received with my Penske shock. They make the top mount 60 mm wide which ended up 10mm to big.  :dash2: Traxxion replaced them  :good: and I have had them on my desk ever since.

Dims are.
ID 12mm
Shoulder OD 15mm
Shoulder insert OD 12.5mm
Shoulder length 23mm

I'll be happy to post them to you if you think they might be useful. :good2:
