Replaced the rear tire today. still running stock rubber on front and back. Front tire still has life in her so put a matching Bridgestone battlax on it. Wheel mods will be down the road. Hoping to get a fresh coat of paint this winter.

What year, tire size?
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

My fj is a 84, tire size is 150/80-16. This was my first tire that I have changed. Wasn't too bad, biggest problem was getting the bead to break loose. Was able to use a couple of small jack stands to balance the tire. Placed axel in tire then placed the axel up on the jack stands. I want to rebuild the forks with Randy's fork valve and springs also. Not sure the toy fund will support the forks and a paint job.

New rubber is a good thing. Good reason to go for a ride.  :good2:
