seller on eBay called   custom-moto-pro.   sells Fj600 fuel taps, these will fit certain vaccume model tanks and most fuel pump models , say 87 91 , will not fit 84 1100   , they have a reserve function , on and off , with filters  , , they will need either an elbow fitted to the outlet ,or  if possible longer fuel line but for  $27  its a cheap mod, once I work out an easy way to turn it off ill post an update on that too ,   ,, but for you guys with fuel pump models these should be good, imo
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

I put a Pingle on-reserve-off petcock.  Have to take off seat and L side panel to get to lever and that has a zip-tie on handle because the handle is up and under the tank.  Granted I don't shut it off after riding. Just leave it on. Oh well
