Good day all.  Has anyone ever swapped the collar choke from an fj1100 to a push/pull choke from fj1200, and if so was it overly difficult?  Any help with this would be great as the factory setup is very sticky and unreliable.

hi., was one of the first mods I did, , easy enough to do, just need to make a bracket to mount the pull part of the choke , I also changed my fairing so made it easier , , have you taken yours apart and cleaned/lubed it , , anyway the bracket I made was just like a (  n. )  shape with a hole in the top  , just need room for the lower part of the choke as its about 3" long or so
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

Thanks for all the input fj11.5.  I haven't taken it apart yet but, I think that should be my starting point.  I heard alot of stories of the cable falling out if you over-twist the ring and I'm looking to stick with a tried-and-true push/pull choke setup.  Mine has already popped out a dozen times so I think it's time.

Cheers
