Rear tire won't turn

I have a 89 with a stock wheel. I have taken the rear wheel off and verified that all hardware is correct. When I install the wheel and torque the axle nut to 110 ftlbs (ref Haynes 2057 manual). The wheel will not turn. Any help and suggestions is appreciated....

My first thought is spacer missing or wrong then bad wheel bearing. Hope this helps? :unknown:

Remove the torque so the axle nut is loose. Does the wheel turn now? If so then you are getting clamping force transferred where you don't want it. Then as Kurt said, spacer missing, spacer in wrong place, bearings (if you changed them). If the wheel does not turn after loosening the axle nut then look for other obstructions. Any recent changes?

110 ft lbs sounds high. I'm away from my house, can anyone check and verify this value?
Haynes has been wrong before.

110 FT LB is in the right neighborhood. My last new rear tire I decided to check the book. Wow, I must have been under torquing thinking I was close by feel....

Crap!!! The Red Power Ranger is off by 2 FTLB??? Better check your records or metric conversions.... Hummm...The 2 LB difference at 100+ cannot be measured by most common torque measuring devices...As you were, carry on mates.... Redder is better!!!

Maybe if he used a red power ranger torque wrench. It would fix the problem?  (popcorn)

I doubt he could even lift it.... The digital indicators display in Red only, Pink means the battery is low....

Rechecked all the hardware. Did a double check using the Yamaha website and the Haynes parts breakdown. All parts are there and correct. I ended up putting a 2mm x 20mm wave washer between the caliper support bracket and the wheel collar. Torqued to 110 ftlbs. The wheel now spins freely.
