I`m yet to figure out why my 4 into two`s feels more pokey than my 4 into 1, but I like oil plug and centre stand available on all three. Hey mate, do you get North of Sydney often?

Have a four into one supertrapp on the 86.  Able to reach the drainplug easily.  I had no clearance issues, though the back end was rather high(added 5/8'' to the centerstand and the rear tire just skimmed the ground).  Hoping it will fit on the 91 when I can find the time.

Yup like Derek says...no problem with the Supertrapp. Drainplug is accessible and no problems scraping. Raised rear end and Penske shock looked after that. I also like the 4-1 for easy chain access and maintenance. Weight savings was fairly substantial and the sound is music to the ears. Is all stainless so it should be durable. Also it makes the FJ look like one on them thar new modern sportbike thingys.....  :shok:

jbv ca I am happy you the supertrap fit and works well. I had same pipe on my 93 FJ pipe needed to come off to change the oil and rubbed on right hand turn. Not a hard turn ether. Mabee if I raised the rear end that will help. Your FJ looks great.

Finding new aftermarket pipes can be a difficult task. I have seen brand new V&H systems on Ebay. I know they won't help with the oil drain plug access and tend to be thin walled and prone to rusting. I personally like the Supertrapp systems. I had a Superlight stainless system on my 1100 and my 1200 came with a beat up Supertrapp standard steel with an aluminum canister. The canister was beat up and had leaks at the up pipe. I found a Stainless one piece up pipe and muffler that bolted onto the collector very nicely.
