The fluid itself is light brown but after a good run seems to have what appears to be a mucky rust like staining to it. It collects and drips from the lower housing. But looking at the paint stripping as seen in the pic I'm guessing it is running from above therefore I guessed slave cylinder
If it is leaking from the clutch slave you should fix it soon.  That brake fluid will eventually destroy your paint and the plastic lower cowl.  Its the devil's piss, quite corrosive to paint and plastic.

Well the leak is fixed!  The fjr clutch master is fitted, bled, wired in and hot to trot.  Replaced the hoses with braided all the way through! Had a run out for half hour to make sure all was good. And all was very good!  It now feels progressive, accurate and feeding in power is responsive and accurate.  Gear changes are now slick and fast!  I was always quite good at slow speed manoeuvres on heavy bikes, but with Babs she always felt a little rustic/agricultural when trying to balance throttle, rear brake and clutch.  Not anymore!  It is so smooth. I would argue that as far as prioritising mods go this has got to be up there with blue dots as one of the first three to be done!

A life has been well lived, if you have planted trees under who's shade you do not expect to sit.

I'm told I'm cynical, pessimistic and generally miserable. I say that I'm realistic! The fact that reality sucks is not my fault!
