 Congratulations to all my brothers in Southern California and to the Los Angeles Kings. To squeak into the 8th and final playoff position and to go on to knock off the top 3 seeded teams in the Western Conference is truly remamrkable !!!!! My hats off to a great team, a great city, great fans. and the greatest game in the world..... . I was 4 when the Leafs last won it in 67.... god I hope they do it again before I die !!!!!! Tonight I am truly jealous.......

I feel your pain.  I'm a closet leaf fan.  Can't stand to watch them anymore, think there is any hope?

If they can grab a dependable goalie...like maybe Luongo  ....... and grab a power forward....like a Rick Nash......and take the "C" from Fluffy (Dion Enough)........ and hand it over to someone who gives a shit about losing........the true fans will come back...and so will the Cup.......8 years is enough...........and maybe Burke should take a page from L.A........and just get into the damn playoffs.........I loved his quote at the trade deadline........."I'm not going to make a trade just to squeak into the playoffs"....I guess he has forgotten what the playoffs are all about..........GETTING THERE FIRST !!!!!!!!!!!! Look what the St louis Cardinals did last year.......the Greatest World Series ever !!!!!!!!!!..........and they had to run the table in the last 10 games just to get in and a couple of teams needed to falter.........Texas had them down to their final out with 2 strikes.......twice....in game 6....and along cames David Freese....and Lance Berkman......... incredible..........now Toronto has to bring back the true leaf fans...and not the white collar pricks who could care less!!!!!!! GOD I MISS PLAYOFF HOCKEY
