Does anyone know if a FJR seat will fit on an older FJ ?

Not sure how it would, fj's have one long seat, fjr's have a two-piece seat, at least my '07 does.

early model fjr seats may fit , but have a different latch set up
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

84 Fj1100  effie , with mods
( 88 ) Fj 1200  fairly standard , + blue spots
84 Fj1100 absolutely stock standard, now more stock , fitted with Fj12 twin system , no rusted headers for this felicity jayne

No, totally different bikes.  The only thing they share is 2 letters of the alphabet.

Thank you all for responding. Trying to find a good used Corbin is as elusive as finding a good belly cowling..... The search continues.....
