Hello everyone. I just bought a 1989 FJ1200. This is my 2nd FJ. I bought a 85 FJ1100 in 1988, I loved that bike. But fell in love with the larger fairing of the 1200. After all these years I finally got one.
I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....

Welcome.
To truly appreciate the FJ, you need to attend one of our Rallies.
There are several to pick from, and the Colorado Rally is coming up next month.

I would love to attend a rally. The Colorado rally isn't that far away. I already have vacation plans to spend a week in Las Vegas for a military reunion.

I should have stated some of this at the beginning....I will start with a little background of myself. I rode motorcycles as my main vehicle from the time I was 19 until I was 30. Most of my riding was in North Carolina and Southern California. During that time i did 3 coast to coast rides. I have been without a bike for the last 15 years. I have just recently purchased a 1989 FJ1200 and getting back into the full motorcycle lifestyle.
