So, is there anyone out there who'd be willing to lend me their valve lash adjustment tool? Also, to do an exchange of my shims that I'll be swapping out for some of theirs? I'll be tearing down tomorrow and Wednesday, so shim needs will be posted as I find them :) Thanks in advance! Mark W.

Post your location, it will help anyone willing to lend, know if you are close by or not.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

I'm located in Dutchess County, NY. If someone has parts, but would need to ship, I'll gladly pay shipping- Mark W.

Thanks, Len. I'll get it back to you soon!
Just finished measuring- 1 exhaust valve tight on 3, and 1 loose on 4. Everything else was in spec- amazing for 32K miles with zero adjustments! Mark W.

OK- got the tool yesterday- hopefully I'll have time to tear down the two valves this week- Mark W.

I think I can safely say I'm one of the luckiest guys around! Of the two that were out of spec, I was able to swap the tight 270 into the loose 265. So I only need ONE shim! I need a 260, and have a 265 to trade. Would love someone if they had one they could send out ASAP so I can ride this weekend! Let me know :) Mark W.
