I have never bought spark plugs out the box before, especially not iridium ones.

I recently bought some from Randy at RPM.

Whe question I have is this

As seen in the pic above the 2 red circles - the iridium doe not have a skrew top. Does the big bulky bit skrew off the top or do you just insert the spark plug as is? I did try unskrew it, but I didnt wanna take a chance breaking it. I know Randy wouldnt sell me the wrong parts so I know they have to fit somehow.

Sorry for a stupid question(yes I did look on the box for instructions - it doesnt say anything about the top)

Loosen with pliers, remove and discard. Install plugs.

hey jesse, the small cap unscrews, shouldnt be overly tight, unscrew it as you would be undoing your plugs  (popcorn)
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

Thanks guys, I had a feeling I needed to do it, now know I can apply a bit of force to get it going.

And Randy, I see your site has even more stuff that I want, and the workshop manual is a steal for that price, would be much easier for me reading a hard copy then having to look through my hardrive for the pdfs..
