:dash1:Please help me out. Finally bought another '84 FJ1100. Refresh my tired mind, please? How many different years of fairings, 1100 or 1200,  will BOLT ON. I know the guage packages & colors/trim changed almost every year. But I'm talking fairings/fasteners.....What body parts can I bolt on? Thanks all! :flag_of_truce:

They all will bolt on...Depends on how much work and effort you want to put in. I am gonna take a wild swing at this and guess that you want a really quick and easy bolt on...Right? Then you are limited to the 84/85 parts.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

yep, monkey is right, , i fitted an 89 fairing to my 84 , needed 2 new front mounts and one either side  about level with the  top of  (popcorn)engine head ??
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

84 Fj1100  effie , with mods
( 88 ) Fj 1200  fairly standard , + blue spots
84 Fj1100 absolutely stock standard, now more stock , fitted with Fj12 twin system , no rusted headers for this felicity jayne

That's how I remembered it too. Assuming I am looking at a later year fairing(s),(Have a nice '87 FJ1200 piece spotted), and I'm going to mount them myself.....will my '84 FJ1100 guage-pod assembly fit the newer fairings, or am I looking at major inner-fairing/dash mods?

just guessing they would fit, would only be the gauges as the inner fairing on my 1100 was all one piece i had to hunt down all the inner parts for the 89 fairing  (popcorn)
