RPM Fork Valve Installation Complete

After a rough start due to me not knowing the proper names of fork components,,,,,, I got my fork valves installed and it's really easy if you don't do what I did.

I've prepared a little write-up with some pics in a Word doc but haven't looked to see if I can add them to the files section or if a moderator has to do that.

The installation went well after "we" figured out my "problem".  I took it for a ride and it is a lot nicer than before. The front end is still a little stiff and I may go back in and take a little off of the spacers.  I rode it on the softest setting and it was a little stiffer than I'd like.  I think I can take off about 1/4" to soften it up a bit, and then I would still be able to adjust the preload adjusters to stiffen it up in the event I'm hauling extra weight.

Thanks to all that helped (Rich, Randy, etc.) me through my confusion.

Good deal Kurt. If you load the pictures in the gallery, then put a description in for each picture, I will build a post for the Mod Files. Pat

As I expected Randy (RPM) called today to ensure my issues were taken care of and to give me some pointers on fine tuning the front end to my liking.  :good2:

I've seen time and time again, folks on this site praising Randy's customer service, knowledge and parts. Initially I thought it might be some kind of "good old boy" thing, but Randy doesn't "know me from nothin" and has gone out of his way to ensure that I was satisfied.  :praising:

To quote the Honda commercial and the great Ricky Bobby,,,,,, "I wanna ride" and "I wanna go fast",,,,, I think I'll take the old FJ out for a spin.
