My FJ1200 starts and runs great if I use it every few days. If it sets for a week it takes excesive cranking till it gets gas then starts and all is dandy. Any suggestions rather than riding it daily. I have 3 bikes.

Go on a diet and get more exercise.  (Oh wait,,,,,,, that was for something else!)

One of the knowledgeable guys will be along shortly to help with your problem.

Steve, I moved this topic out of the Files section to here. Please don't post questions in the Files.
Some specifics about where you live (climate) and what type of FJ do you have, would help us.
For example, does your FJ have a fuel pump? How many miles? When was the last time you cleaned the carbs? Is your choke fully engaging? How do you know? etc,etc

If that's a fuel pump model (88+) you should hear it cycle when you turn the key on.  So, turn the key on, wait 5s for it to stop, turn key off.  Repeat until it cycles quite a bit slower, and it should light immediately when you start it.

Or... it's flooded because your pet-cock & needle valves are leaking.  What's it finally take to get it running?
