Thanks Father Pat!   :good2:  Oh, and Klavdy and I have eaten at that Denny's and stayed at that hotel already - and by right around the corner - they actually mean in the hotel parking lot...yay!

I got a room but the lady I booked with said they really don't know what room I am staying in until the day-of-registration.   If you got a block of rooms well its not really assigned according to her ---then again I got the night shift.  If you think it should be different ( basically you have a block of specific rooms reserved ) let me know who I should talk too.

Otherwise --looking forward to seeing everyone I haven't seen in a year -- I am not looking forward to the breakfast ride....seems like I will be able to push my bike across the parking lot .... the ride in Willits was much better ... 20 miles of curves to the coast.

Not to worry Steve. When they say they have reserved a block of rooms it simply means the number of rooms Pat requested. They could be spread out all over the hotel.
I'm in Vegas until the 25th. Hmmmm... we do have about 17 trucks going out that way. Might just be room for an FJ?! It's a long shot but who knows.

Well, go to that link and have a look through the fork sets.
You find some you like the look of then google their specs.
You need to find their diameter ,length and distance between them in their OEM role and the axle thickness, length etc. (that's so you can work out the if the axle will fit your existing 17" FJ wheel)

Just thought I'd drop my $0.02 on the rooms.  I wanted a room with a King bed for the Mrs. & I.  I found a booking website http://www.venere.com/california/porterville/ that saved a few $$ and was able to book the desired room at the best price, with a 1 day cancellation policy.
They also sent me a discount code good for another 4% off your 1st booking, CH7EW3S

If bookings fill, or you want something special, this is a decent place to look.

Good work mate, most everyone likes a bargain.
Sues coming to Porterville, there's some magnificent scenery and some cool shopping in quaint places too if riding loses it's appeal.
What about Colorado?
Is she coming there too or are you riding out?

You guys will love riding up there, my grand parents retired to Porterville. Some decent food up around Camp Nelson, and if you follow it over it drops into Kernville and Lake Isabella. Wish I still lived in Cali. I miss running mountain roads instead of all this flat land out here.
