Black vs blue paint colors

Ordered new fender front and back section for midnight blue 89. The front part is just as it should be but the color part of the back section is gloss black. Not a off shade of blue but a lovely deep glossy black. Discussing options for returning this but fear it will just get sent to another owner. Anyone else seen this anomally on midnight blue factory paint?

Where did you order these from and cost please.

You should notice that the fairing is midnight blue above the pinstripe. Below the stripe is gloss black. As is the fender. You got the right color and you should not send it back. They are becoming a rare item.

 Interesting. Never knew there were two color codes on the midnight blue FJ's. On my bike the front and back sections are definitely both blue. The mudflap part is flat black on both so no issues there. The color difference is so slight you only really notice it in bright sunlight. Meh.

I bought both parts retail from my local Yamaha dealer, Heyser's in Laurel, MD. The cool thing about these folks is they match whatever "legit" internet price you give them. Even still you see guys all day long coming in to try stuff on then disappearing once they get the size they need.
