  found on the net...

Hi, the owner of Zanotti is retiring. As of Dec 31 we are no longer a Harley Davidson, Honda or Yamaha dealer. If you do not find what you are looking for in our posted PDF inventory list, then we cannot order it. We are no longer doing Internet orders from the old website. We do have an eBay store site with existing inventory only. Thanks, John H @ Zanotti

that's a shock.. I have bought lots of stuff from them over the past 10+ years and dealt with John just about every time.  Best of luck to him and the rest.

Ditto good luck, enjoy your retirement. More time for riding. I too was a satisfied customer.

Damn!!!!  My tried and true go-to dealer.  Great prices and service.  Very disappointing, sad to see them go.  I've gotten tons of stuff over the years from John and the boys.

So where is the next best place to get parts?

Yeah, Zanotti is where i went for oem parts too, if it wasn't something Randy carried.   Their shipping was expensive the last time I used them though.

As for a replacement, so far I've found this:

From the FJ Parts link on the home page,  I checked these guys out.
http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/pages/Catalog/Catalogs/16
They're using the same web server/format ? for Yamaha parts as this company.
http://www.extremepowersportsonline.com/ who I think are the same company as this
www.partforyamaha.com

Woody's Performance center in Maine seems to be using the same server/ format also.

http://www.woodysyamaha.com/pages/OemParts

All of these companies seem to have reasonable prices, although even if the Yamaha parts pages look identical when you get to choosing and ordering parts, the difference in price between the companies varies up and down with no constant margin that I could see.
With all of them though, shipping is a SOB.

I'd like to find a company that charges the fair price, but has a logical shipping charges.  Just for kicks, checked one of the above vendors (100 miles from me) for shipping charges for a couple of sets of jets and a set of needles which would weigh next to nothing and fit in a $4.95 flat rate box.  Shipping charge: $15.03

I have had good luck with yamaha sports plaza.
