What are you guys doing to fix your broken plastic behind the turn signals? Anyone interested in how a newbie fixed his ?( right or wrong ). I'm sure there will be somebody who doesn't like it but hey different strokes....  I'm going to take some pics tonight if possible so other people can do this if they like. Mine got broke when some one leaned on my bike, other when it fell in garage after I sold it to the first guy. Sorry I should have said this is 3rd time owning this one bike. I have not put up pics here so be patient I could have a technical difficulty.

OOPS,
Sorry, I went to the shop tonight to take some pics but I guess I already installed that fairing. But I have another fairing that just needs one side done so in  the next few days I'll bend up a piece of sheet aluminum and do that one for pics. Long story short I cut a thin strip and install behind signal. Much like a automotive triple gauge set up with the strip to hold each gauge in the triple gauge bracket with two screws. I first lay the strip up to the plastic (or whats left in my case) and scribe length across top of bracket, measure down to find where you will need  to bend 90 degree to go under mirror bracket and down to headlight stay bracket.Also will have to drill two holes to mount actual signal screws. Did this one of mine 4 months ago with no problems yet. I'll get some pic's and even if I got to get one of my kids to help me get them on here.

Looks like a good solution :good:.I think I may do something similar as my blinker mounts are cracking.

Cuz you are using the wrong blinker fluid....
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

I'm standing by for my exhaust to fail too as I have neglected to grease my muffler bearings  :sarcastic:

When out on the road visine is a exellent blinker fluid. Do it all the time. Works for the bike and me.
