If a new bike was in your future, what would you buy? I like the Honda VFR1200,but the price is out of my range. The new V-Max also looks mean. The Ducati Devail is another one that would be on the top of my list.
Maybe if I win 6/49 I'll get one in the garage. (popcorn)

I've ridden the 2nd generation VMax, I would love to have one. The power, beyond words, fricking incredible. No issues with it, I'd love one

VFR1200 is also interesting - but Honda seems to of lost track with me these days. Talking to our regional Honda rep only created more distance between us, they (Honda) seems to of become arrogant.......

Ducati, same as a Harley, I have to pass, no thank you.

Whatever it would be it would have to be liquid cooled. I've done very close to 600 miles in a day several times on my busa but I'm thinking of something along the lines of a Kawasaki 14. The new Goldwings are actually pretty nice (I have ridden one) and are not the freeway freight trains they used to be.

It's interesting nobody wanted a Harley. There's a lot of choices out there, and I guess $$$$$ dictates what we what and what we can afford. I lot of my friends do ride Harley's,and all of them are good about riding with all brands of bikes.
What's your opinion's on the Can-Am Spyder? :drinks:

I thought it was more interesting that no one mentioned an FJR. Maybe because it was too similar of what we have now. Sports bikes definitely get my pulse up, but realistically a sport tour bike is the practical option for me. I am still enjoying the second honeymoon with my FJ (bought it new, then a 10 year hiatus), have not thought much about a new bike.

A three wheeler..no way.

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

I like the looks of the Yamaha Super Tenere.... Go anywhere, looks like a great bike for the wide-open West.  I need to test-ride one.

Can Am Spyder, looks like a converted snowmobile..... No Thanks! Bikes, Not trikes!

Interesting?  I would say it's obvious that no one mentioned a Harley.  People that own an FJ know the value of money for their performance.  A Harley doesn't even deserve mention on the money/value scale.

one of david raforth's bikes.

Obviously a man of impeccable taste.  I've stopped looking at new bikes. There's just nothing out there that's worth the asking price.

If money was no object, any ducati sports bike made after 1982, any mg agusta. Made after 2000, or aprillia, but would be very happy with any xjr  (popcorn)
