Life behind bars - is actually quite thrilling

Nope, not for me. FJ motor in a go cart? You can't get enough rubber down to the pavement with those little bitty go cart slicks. Smoke city.

However there is an alternative. You should see these Thunder Roadsters up close. They are very cool. I need to visit the track and see them run.

You know that our RPM Randy happens to a world champion in these....?

I knew Randy worked on the Legends cars, but didnt know he was a champion :shok:

Go Randy :dance2:

I admit the tires are too tiny, but the carts weigh less than half of an FJ  technically they should have twice as much torque per pound

Going for the 3rd World Championship in November. The biggest challenge will be beating my two kids...They have surpassed my track records during my absence the last two years. I have driven a few sessions here & there and I am still fast, so hopefully I can keep up with them.

Ultimately if we finish 1-2-3 that will be icing on the cake.

Now that is cool!  And I imagine that if you and your kin do finish 1-2-3, it won't really matter which of those numbers pertains to you.  Best of luck.  Where is this race?

We will be at Infineon Raceway (Sears Point) for the final two races of the season. We run October 29-30 followed by a two week break before the World Finals November 11-12.

They run the Finals on a Fri-Sat arrangement so travel to far away places can began on Saturday after the event.

I know my kids are looking forward to beating the "old man" but I am also looking forward to taking them to school. I hope to be the first to cross the line, but they both still have an equal chance to win the national points championship as well, so they have two things to keep their eyes on.

But like you said 1-2-3 and we are all winners.

Randy,
If I were to make a last minute decision to run up for the finals (I assume you will be racing) are tickets tough to get?

Anyone can get in for $10.00 at the gate. It is open to all and the $10.00 will cover all weekend as well. If you are coming up maybe we can convince Andy to take the 15min ride over as well. Heck there might be several others pretty close as well. (Frank, Mark O, Craig...)

The plan is to run, I have rented a car for myself and will be running it for the first time this weekend, so as long as it holds together I will be running.
