Last ride of the year

Well, today will be my last ride of the year. It's just getting to cold to ride anymore, -6 c. this morning. Going to take the bike to my mother-in-laws garage today and put her on the tender. I am gearing up to put some new mufflers and a fork brace, spin on oil filter adapter and a few other goodies over the winter. I will be order most of the parts from Randy. The mufflers will be coming from Delkevic along with a new collector box, will be about the same price as a V/H header. I also picked up a complete 2000 FZ1 front end and will be trying to get that fitted for spring. Later guys Big r.

You know that just because your bike is laid up for the winter, you can still participate on this list.  May even help you remember warmer times.  Have fun with your mods.

Don't worry Arnie, I'm not going to stop looking at the forum. There are to many tips and ideas that come up and i am always ready to try something new. Was wondering if anyone has tried to fit any other swingarm besides a Yamaha one to the fj. Big r

Big r, don't fit the exhausts until you're ready to ride again. Fire it up in the garage with them on and you'll find the urge to want to hear that glorious sound out on the road irresistible. I just fitted mine (Delkevics) and new tires at the weekend and rode 400 k's through the hills on Sunday. Baffles out, earplugs in, fantastic!
