Just a quick question to you all about changing the oil with my Vance and Hines system attached.

I would like to know what the best way to change the oil on my bike without having to remove the header.  Any suggestions or ideas?  Have any of you come up with any inventions or alternative methods?  If so pleas elet me know and if you have done anything crazy can you include pics?

I have heard of some using the oil cooler line, etc....

Thank you.

Search function is your friend.

You can use the left (bottom while on sidestand) oil cooler line, you can relocate the drain plug in the pan, or you can pull the exhaust when you do the oil.

I have the v/h exhaust and just pull it for the opportunity for inspection and gasket replacement.

It also makes it easier to clean the header pipes which tend to fill up with assfault pebbles and rattle in the twisties driving me crazy.  :wacko2:

rpm randy carries the gaskets.
