With the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the news people should be wearing masks when outside, one of RPM's vendors went to work getting masks made. I have been trying all of my vendors up to this point for masks and everyone has been out of stock.

This morning we received an initial order of REUSABLE, NON-MEDICAL, PROTECTIVE MASKS.

This initial order is only for the color of black and white is on the way. At this time, RPM is offer these masks for $14.95 with free USA shipping.

From now until, May 1st, all orders to RPM over $100 will include a free mask with request. This is for any anyone around the world. Please just put a note in the comments that you would like a mask included. If you would like additional masks, we can settle up on those after the order is placed. Just leave a note in the comments when you place your order that you would like more than one.

Take care and wash your hands.

While we are still getting packages shipped as quickly as possible it has come to our attention that some of our international customers are experiencing delays in shipping. Please be aware of this when ordering. Here is the most current list of countries either completely not shipping or are experiencing service delays.

The initial order of REUSABLE, NON-MEDICAL, PROTECTIVE MASKS flew out of the door, thank you. I am glad to be able to provide a useful product to help everyone protect themselves in this uncertain time.

A new order arrived this morning and they are back in stock.

Stay safe and wash your hands.

We are seeing product delays and shipping issues and delays as a result of covid-19. This is both for parts I purchase from vendors and with parts being sent out to customers.

A couple of vendors who have a 3-4 pm order cut off time have moved them up to 9 and 10am...

Vendors who manufacture are running light staff and product is slow in being received.

International customer's are being affected by quarantine of packages for 14 days before even beginning the customs process. Other international customers are seeing no delay.

I appreciate everyone's ongoing support and patience when a package is sitting someplace for weeks without any updated info. So far is every package has arrived, albeit severely late.

I do notice customers using priority mail service are getting their packages quicker than first class.

We are doing everything on our end from wearing PPE when packaging orders to Lysol spraying and leaving incoming packages in the sun for a couple of hours before handling.

Keep in mind, the RPM Memorial Sales event is coming up at the end if the month. Right now the only thing out of stock is the RPM dual pod air filters that have been on order for more than a month now. Hopefully they will be back in stock before the sale.

The 84+ FJ Oil Cooler Kit will be back in stock before the sale starts.

We have several other exciting things in the works and will post up announcements when they are ready to roll.

Thanks for your continued support and stay safe.

Due to the effects of covid 19 and the severely reduced business, effective Monday July 13th, 2020, we will be operating at half of the normal work week.

Robert will be working a 20 hour work week. Not sure if we are going to be working 4 hours a day or two full days and one half day.

Shipping times will be delayed slightly due to this unfortunate change in hours. But I have to adjust to keep the doors open.

We are seeing significant delays in receiving parts from our vendors as well. This is making it difficult to keep the shelves stocked.

I believe I can weather this storm and come out on the other side to keep the FJ parts rolling.

Thank you for your continued support as the world deals with the pandemic.

This year has put a damper on the 2020 racing season. There a few races, unfortunately not every Saturday night like usual.

They are racing at Lakeport tonight and RPM customer Aiden Daniels picked up the trophy dash victory

Congrats Aiden.

We continue to struggle and I so appreciate everyone's support during this ongoing situation.

The struggle is coming from many, many directions. Not only due to the fact people are not able to spend on the extras in life. Let's face it, the majority of FJ owners are weekend riders. I have seen the struggles first hand having to cut hours and working while furloughed.

That means the money is required to sustain everyday life and the FJ has to wait patiently.

We are also struggling to get product from the majority of our vendors. As always, if you can select the part(s) you desire on the website it is on the shelf ready to ship.

Then on top of it all, we are seeing a ton on international shipping delays. The receiving countries are also operating a reduced staff and quarantining incoming packages. So they are sitting for two weeks in quarantine before getting into the long and delayed line to be send to the receiver. We are experiencing three and now more month delays of some international customers. This customers are unhappy and are filing claims with PayPal because they haven't gotten their packages. I have now had close to ten transactions refunded because the package hasn't arrived because it is stuck someplace.

I am reviewing if I have to stop selling internationally for the time being. I can't afford to ship out products, then have it sitting someplace and then having to refund the customer monies.

The frustrating things is, on a couple of cases I have followed the tracking and the customer has ultimately received the package and they got it for free as my only option is to appeal the refund within ten days. After that I'm 100% out of pocket.

For the time being, international customers might have to order via email like the old days. This will give me the ability to explain what is going on and whati might be expected. I do have a mandatory check box on the website explaining the situation, but that doesn't matter to PayPal...

I will continue to review over the remainder of this month and make a decision. I will have the decision made prior to the annual RPM Labor Day Sale.

This will also be difficult as Robert is still only working 20 hours a week.

This whole thing is difficult for many, many small businesses and I am not excluded. I am looking at all the ways to cut costs so we can continuing to do what we love to do.

I stopped at a Chinese restaurant this past week which I have been eating at since 1985. The owner and his wife are the only two employees currently working as he had to lay off the fifteen people required to operate under normal circumstances. He knows when I walk in, there are three options I always order and how I like it made. He told me he is not sure if he can make it to the end of the month. I hope they can make it, but in the event they can't I left him a significant tip on this last order. While I only know them because they make food I order, the tears of appreciation I saw in their eyes meant I did the right thing.

So, lets get past all the glum, summer is sizzling (check the photo of the current weather) at RPM and we have a full compliment of parts on the shelf and ready for your FJ.

I will keep everyone posted regarding international orders, but please keep in mind the majority of all international orders.

As always, I appreciate everyone support to chose RPM as the parts supplier for your FJ.
