Forgive my ignorance but I thought early FJs had a 2-bolt alternator and the later models had 3 bolts?

Did I dream this? Or, did they keep the original 2-bolt pattern and add a 3rd boss for the later model?

Yes, early model FJ's had the two bolt alternator. I believed that changed on 86 model FJ1200. My two 86's have a three bolt alternator.

The XJR alternator will be a direct bolt on replacement for either two or three bolt blocks.

The majority of the latest order has arrived from Yamaha and we have gotten a few hard to find parts.

We now have in stock the fairing protectors for both sides of the 84/85 and 86/88. If you recall the right fairing protectors have been obsolete in the US for many years now and unobtainable. Not anymore, we have them on the shelf and ready to ship. No need for people trying to get them made via 3D printer or looking for NOS. These are brand new current production inventory.

We now have the small "Cover, Oil Pump 2" on the shelf as well. It is available in both black and silver. That cover along with the "Cover, Oil pump" (timing cover), the Clutch Cover, Outer Ring and Clutch Cover, Cap will transform your engine to a shiny new look.

Genuine Yamaha 4 Brush Starters are back on the shelf too.

I know they are pricier than the current aftermarket options, but you know you are getting a quality part. When you are broken down on the side of the road you will soon regret the money saved...

We have a couple of other parts on the water right now heading our way that will be exciting additions to the inventory.

Robert has also been working very hard to come up with a solution for the gravity feed bike is reference to the fuel line and plastic Y fitting. We are currently testing a new system that is promising. We are going to have to await some warmer weather to make sure we don't have any issues. If everything works out well, we will have this available for those with gravity feed carbs as soon as we are confident this is the best replacement option.

I will continue to strive to obtain, manufacture and provide the parts you need for your beloved FJ. I have and will continue to invest int he FJ platform as they need to be represented for many, many years to come.

We have received a few items that have been out of stock for some time.

We ran out of a few valve shim sizes and they have been replenished: Genuine Yamaha Valve Shim

The Blue Yamaha Hats are back on the shelf as well.

We ran out of swing bearings and 84-93 FJ Fuel Sender Unit Gasket. The back order from Yamaha has finally arrived.

To answer the most asked question of recent times, yes the vibration dampening handle bar ends will be available again. I foresee a month or two, but they are in the works.

It has been a while since we have posted any sort of part update, but today we finally got a biggie back on the shelf.

I had to search out a new company to start production of the newest version of the RPM handlebar ends. Since the original manufacture has halted production, I had to go out and re-tooled to get them manufactured. We have made some improvements in the area of the tuned mass damper in relation to corrosion. It is now made from stainless steel instead of plating the original steel design. This should stop the corrosion issues that had been documented prior.

I am sure there are several other things that Robert can add on, but I wanted to get this one out since the new RPM handlebar ends are now back on the shelf and ready to ship out.

Fixed it. However, there were 30+ people on the wait list and we only received 15 sets. They have already sold out, we have more on the way but they are currently at powder coating so it may be a week or two before they are back in stock.
