... because I left the bike at home today for the first time in ages - it was bloody well snowing - in Auckland! Not real heavy, lie on the ground for days snow - just some pretty little flakes drifting along in the gale force southerly that has hit us.  It all melted almost as soon as the shower past over and the temp is now up around 6 degrees C, also not cold by seppo standards but still too cold for me.  :nea: Queensland is looking very tempting!

Yeah Queensland is a great idea. It worked well for this Hamilton boy. I can't imagine dealing with that weather noe

According to Wikipedia the last time it snowed in Auckland was 1939 so I imagine it was a shock. But as someone who rode for an entire month last winter in the snow & ice at -10C (though not on an FJ), yes, you are a big softy!
