Installing a mechanical oil pressure gauge

I did search but did not see any threads on the subject. I've run a Daytona oil temp gauge for years now but I will be installing an oil pressure gauge as well. I do not like the OEM oil level gauge though I will continue to run it. Anybody else mounted one of the small Autometer gauges?

oil temp is more important than pressure.... the FJ is pretty much two pumps in one and as it was explained to me when i was thinking about a oil pressure gauge.... "you dont need one... it will only scare you" since the pressure varies so much with RPM.

I think it is a good idea to monitor pressure as well as temp. I'll be honest..I've been more frightened by the oil temp gauge. I'm interested in seeing if pressure is effected by hard acceleration up moderate inclines etc. The oil level stays on for a while (typical) indicating a lot of oil is moving toward the rear of the sump. I'm looking to see if pressure is steady under those conditions. The pressure itself will vary with oil temp and RPM....I'm not worried about that.
