Anyone know the true weight and f/r bias of the 86 FJ? The few pages I have seen online go from 271 to 298 lbs.
I have done some mods to my bike and was curious to see how much I have been able to drop.
Thanks

Sounds like a fully custom Titanium FJ600 to me, anyone else?

Do you have a bath scale?  Run each wheel up on the scale & see what you get ...

Kilograms are not pounds.

540lbs dry was the first number I found.  Add a bunch for wet weight.  I've never seen the weight bias listed for an FJ.  A bath scale with a decent capacity used at each end will be the best way to see where you're at.

I have done the bath scale thing, 268F/245R with a half tank of fuel. Bike already had the aftermarket exhaust so I couldn't get before numbers. Bike has PS shock, GSXR forks and front brakes, Katana wheels. Rear turn signal mounts were removed along with bungy hooks. I did put an 89 front cowling on it, so that added some weight. The chin fairing was all broken up, so that was trashed.
