Hello All,

So an August Mini Rally might be in the works for SoCal.  Well, let everyone far and near know that my hat is in the ring.  I live just a few scant miles from the "nice" roads here in Lakeside, CA. So I am going to invite others that need to travel here to my home for the rally.  I have a pool and BBQ and on a 1/3 acre lot with a 32ft motorhome that sleeps 4.  All the comforts are here after the rides, great meals and a nice swim, if you so desire.

So let's do this as I would like to meet all you FJ riders in the California, Arizona and Nevada area.  If any of you from further out are interested, let me know.  I only have room for 4 for sleeping, but can feed the whole crew.  There is room for tents as well........

Just have to say that there are no provisions for a campfire.

Looking forward,

CraigO

Mini rally? Any rally with less rain than the last WCR is in my schedule. Keep me posted. I am in if I can swing it with my work schedule...
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

'86 Ambulance - Bent frame, cracked case, due for an overhaul
'89 Stormy Blue - Suits my Dark Side

Mark ...I wish you didn't crop out those moon boots .... I am in for the SoCal mini as well.  PS make it towards mid to end of the month ...will be away the first two weeks

Sept can be a nice month too --- how about the week after labor day .... in keep with the same mindset as the WCR ( weekend after a long weekend so less police activity due to most having to work the long weekend to keep things quiet)

I really like Steve's idea of waiting till after the Labor Day holiday.  There will be a lot less traffic and the "Man" won't be out in force.  The nice roads are real close to my home, so we can be canyon carving within 10 minuets of pulling out of the driveway.  I live on the edge of town so there are no neighbors to annoy, if we should get a little loud.

Depending on how much interest there is, we have a 32ft motorhome and I can take maybe 4-6 tents.  If you desire, bring the little women too.   I'll make sure to turn off the sprinklers.

I have an electric gate and surveillance cameras so all will be safe here.  Steve has been to my place and can attest to the roominess.

Meals will be cooked on the BBQ and you can have a nice swim in our pool after the rides, so bring appropriate attire.

OR, we can reserve a campsite in the local mountains if you all prefer.  Both Palomar and Laguna have camp grounds but not sure of the cost or availability.

Hope to see you then.

If the home offer is not what you all are looking for, above are some cabins up in the Laguna Mountains.  As you can see, it's located right on the edge of Desert View park, just a short walk to some amazing vistas.

Just another option....

So who's in from NorCal?  This is sounding pretty tempting and a pack of FJs riding down together would likely put it over the top for me.  Is there a sign-up sheet or ??
