Breather Box Hose

I recently added the 4 pods to my Carbs, removing the stock airbox. After riding and the bike warms up, it appears steam
comes from the old breather box hose. THe hose is just secured on its own. Not kinked. Is this normal?
1988 FJ1200.

It's a mix of steam and oil vapor.  That's why it's there.  Stick a filter of some form on it or you'll end up covering everything in the area with a fine spray of oil.
