figured id go ahead and jump on here since my next bike is going to be an FJ1200, started riding on a 1996 xj600 a couple of years ago, someone stole that, so when the money came back i figured id see what all the fuss on a gsx-r was, grabbed a 750 cause i figured it was about time to go higher, loved it, good bike for going fast, and beautiful on twisties, if not abit on the heavy side(cant count that against a 92 i guess). then when i thrashed the carbs on that i wasn't sure where to go, a buddy of mine back in KY suggested a test out his FJ, i immediately fell in love, I'm sure its more CC's then i will ever need, and my wife has decided to up the life insurance policy, but its a beautiful machine made from happiness extracted from the dreams of babies.
guess that went long winded, either way, i should be picking up the FJ this sunday, lightly modified, just an exhaust from what i can tell, but the guy I'm getting it from didn't exactly have perfect records, fairings have some rash, fork seals need replaced, and the carbs could probably use a good cleaning and syncing, but I'm very excited about going back to a yamaha, and even more stoked i found such a great site to get all the info(and maybe a few friends) from
sometime's its "broken", sometimes its actually broken, but usually its just sitting there cause i got one too many in, and have alcohol induced A.D.D.

I am new to this forum as well & I also had a 96 xj600 (although mine was never stolen) you will be very happy with the FJ. I just got mine this year & put 2,500 mi on it so far & I'm loving every one of them.
Good decisions come from experience, Experience comes from bad decisions.

seems to be a trend there, with people owning the diversion before owning the FJ gotta love the yama's :)
