I've been using the info on this forum since i got my 1992 fj1200 in Feb. . I applied for a registration to the forum in April... just got the confirmation today confirmed my hunch that FJ owners would much rather be out riding than sitting around putting confirmation emails out... anyway... I falling deeply in love with the bike... now if I could just keep my dadgum hand out of the throttle I might get better then 32 mpg!!!

Let us know if we can help you in some way.  Teaching you to NOT use the loud/fast grip is probably not in the files section though :-)
