A former list member has asked me if I know the ratio of engine vs alternator rpm.
I don't, but maybe one of you does.
He's looking for an engine speed related power take off for a high pressure mechanical fuel pump.
Any other ideas?

Cheers,
Arnie

Ironically, I was thinking today about "what if" a FJ engine was built without the starter clutch/starter and alternator. It seems like it would eliminate considerable rotating mass...super fast revs.

Yea Bryan, IIRC, Doc Hacker in the UK did this on his FJ track bike for just that reason: http://www.FJRacer.com
