Newbie to the forum and to FJ ownership

Hello everyone. My name is Todd and I just purchased a 1991 FJ1200. It's quite a step up from my old Nighthawk! I'm looking forward to getting some miles on it very soon.

Not even the S model just the stock 'Hawk....A craigslist $400.00 basket case that I coaxed back to life. Now it's on the auction block and I ain't lookin' back!

Funny, my last bike was a Nighthawk "S" as well. Didn't like the jack shaft effect, got blown all over the road, shitty brakes.
Sounded cool though, and luved the gear indicator thing that went all the way to '6' 
Ain't nuthin compared to the FJ...

I think the Nigthawk is a nice looking bike. My CBX 750 fits the same engine,  and of course my FJ is a different (and better) beast, but the CBX is sheer fun riding on the Tenerife twisty roads
