Hi everybody!
Owned 2 FJs (3xw & 3cv) for last 5 years and still love them. How many times I have had the idea of sell them and buy a brand new & much modern bike but never done because my good mate Alf convinced me that no modern bike could achieve so many good qualities as an Fj could. And he is allright.
Alf and I join a every year journey riding lost of miles along Spain, Portugal and South France.
I actually have a 3CV model with lots of modifications.
You really know that FJ is a gorgeous bike!
Nice to meet you all !!.. :drinks:

Joe,

You buy and sell other bikes, FJs you keep.
I've yet to find any single bike that is as good as the FJ at so many things.
Post a tale of your journeys so we can discover what traveling in the south of Europe is like.
You might just convince some of us to come over for a biking holiday.

Cheers and Welcome,
Arnie

welcome to the group :hi:

many have found the fj to be a great motorcycle for all purpose riding , with a few minor modifications it becomes excellent.

Hi Joe and Welcome to the group!

I too have been tempted by newer motorcycles but they really don't offer anything the FJ cannot provide.

Good to have you on board with us!

regards and Kookaloo!

...you'll be welcome in Spain if you decide to come !!  :good2:...I think that June is the best time to come in south of Europe, weather is mostly sunny & not as hot as it is in august; daylight is longer wich let you ride longer..The bad point is that gasoline is expensive, very expensive: 1,36€/liter, this is about 11$ gallon if I'm not wrong...

Hola!

I did a driving tour with my partner and some friends down the coast of Spain last year and all I wanted the whole time was to be outside on a bike.
Cruising around Malaga at about 9:30 pm with the sun just setting around june july is on the must do list... on 2 wheels next time though, preferably something that has an F and a J written on it.

Enjoy the forum and enjoy summer cruising.
Life's pretty straight without twisties.
